What my mother doesn't know & What my girlfriend doesn't know

Two amazing books that our group has read is What my mother doesn't know & What my girlfriend doesn't know. The book What my girlfriend doesn't know is based off of What my mother doesn't know. The way the second book is based off the first one is because sophie is a teenage girl that is going through many changes in her teenage years. Sophie engages in a relationship with murphy who is not in her social circle or anybody elses. Both of these books takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. They capture the tingle and heartache of being young and in love. But both of these books are great and very entertaining and they are a great read for highschool students.

Blood Brother's

The book Blood Brother's is about two teenage boys that are both seniors in high school, clay and joey. They are really good friends but all of a sudden a tragic accident happen's to joey, and clay gets the blame for it. This book is an amazing book to read because it keeps your attention and it's like a mystery, cause you never know what is going to happen next.

Bondi's Brother

The book Bondi's Brother is about a boy who is in a concentration camp, he is jewish. Then when he was about 15 he got out of the concentration camp and went and found his family then starts his life off like a normal person.

Our group interviewed several teacher's over the book Deadline and this is what they have to say:
Mrs.Manning,
I loved the novel Deadline. It really puts life in perspective as well as makes you understand the importance of living life to the fullest.

Ms.Haydon,
Thought it was a very powerful story, recommends to older students. The book has a lot of good messages.

Ms.Mandrelle,
it was an interesting frame work, compelling character, center was to unaffected by his sentence. Overall good book. She likes the storyline and would recommend to students.

~Deadline~

The book Deadline is about Ben Wolf a senior at Trout High. He had Big plans for his senior year, then he got the worst news, He had leukemia and he was given one year too live. So in that year he decided what you would do in a lifetime that he would do in one year, his year to shine. And along the way he faced many obstacles; that helped him to become a better person.
